agentmako

agentmako is an MCP server designed to help Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, Cline, and other coding agents understand a project before making edits. It indexes your repository and maintains a local SQLite-backed store of code facts, routes, database schemas, diagnostics, and prior findings. The tool provides agents with evidence-backed answers about what files matter and what context is relevant, rather than forcing them to orchestrate broad tool chains or rediscover information repeatedly.

The system uses a Reef Engine that tracks durable facts, findings, and freshness state through content hashes rather than timestamps. Every claim is evidence-backed, and the tool distinguishes between verified findings and uncertain heuristics. agentmako runs locally with no hosted service required, and the maker says it was built with TypeScript.
