acpx
Headless CLI client for Agent Client Protocol sessions with coding agents
Visit acpx.sh ↗What is acpx?
acpx is a command-line interface for interacting with ACP-compatible coding agents without a terminal UI. It supports persistent multi-turn sessions scoped to repositories, one-shot executions, and parallel named workstreams. Built-in adapters work with Pi, OpenClaw, Codex, Claude, and other agents, with support for custom ACP servers.
The tool provides structured output in text, JSON, and quiet modes, queue-aware prompting that handles concurrent requests, and automatic crash recovery. Sessions survive across invocations, permissions can be controlled via flags, and tool calls and diffs come through as structured events rather than terminal scraping.
