Vibepit
Run AI coding agents in hardened containers with network filtering
Visit vibepit.dev ↗What is Vibepit?
Vibepit is a sandbox tool that runs AI coding agents in isolated containers with allowlist-based network filtering. It protects against prompt injection, rogue skills, and compromised dependencies by restricting all HTTP, HTTPS, and DNS traffic. The tool runs entirely locally without cloud services or account requirements, making it suitable for developers who want to safely test AI agents like Claude Code, Codex, or Copilot.
The sandbox uses defense-in-depth security including read-only root filesystems, dropped Linux capabilities, and a filtering proxy. Users can manage allowlists and inspect live traffic via CLI commands or an interactive monitor UI. Network presets are available for common services like GitHub and package managers. The maker built it with Claude Code.
