UmaDev

UmaDev is a command-line agent that coordinates work across five AI coding tools: Claude Code, Codex, OpenCode, Grok Build, and Kimi Code. Instead of replacing these tools, it integrates with them to assign specialized roles—research, architecture, design, QA, security, and DevOps—to handle different aspects of development tasks. The agent owns no model itself; it borrows the brain from whichever coding base you select and use.

For small edits, work stays lightweight. For substantial builds, UmaDev creates a visible plan, routes tasks to appropriate roles in isolated sessions, and uses deterministic checks to verify completion. It produces structured artifacts and honest reporting rather than claiming every request becomes shippable code. The tool is distributed as a single Rust binary via npm.
