TrustTunnel
Modern open-source VPN protocol that mimics HTTPS traffic
Visit trusttunnel.org ↗What is TrustTunnel?
TrustTunnel is an open-source VPN protocol created by AdGuard VPN and now available for community use and auditing. It provides fast, secure connections by making VPN traffic appear identical to regular HTTPS browsing, enabling it to bypass network throttling and deep-packet inspection while preserving privacy.
The protocol uses TLS encryption and HTTP/2 or HTTP/3 as transport layers, eliminating the traditional speed-versus-stealth trade-off. Users can deploy their own server endpoint and connect via mobile apps (iOS, Android), desktop clients (macOS, Windows, Linux), or CLI tools. The project includes server, client library, and GUI applications across multiple platforms.
