Sverklo

Sverklo is an open-source MCP server that gives coding agents like Claude Code, Cursor, and Windsurf access to repository context before making edits. It provides symbol graphs, caller relationships, test coverage, dependency information, and git history to help agents understand the blast radius of changes.

The tool runs locally by default with bundled embeddings, keeps telemetry off by default, and includes a public benchmark of 180 hand-verified retrieval tasks across 6 open-source codebases. Users can run a proof receipt on their own repository before installing the full MCP configuration, with no project files written during trial mode.
