StashBase is a local-first writing application designed for writers who want AI assistance while maintaining control over their data. It integrates Claude and Codex to help draft and edit content, drawing from your own documents, PDFs, recordings, and past writing. The workspace includes semantic search across sources, document-aware diff viewing that shows edits in prose context rather than code-style line diffs, and voice preservation by learning from your past writing patterns. Offline mode allows notes, edits, and search to function without connection, syncing changes automatically when back online.
