Selectube is a parental-controlled video platform offering a curated selection of educational and entertaining YouTube content for children. Parents hand-review every channel for age-appropriateness and educational value, eliminating autoplay loops and clickbait thumbnails. The platform features categories like nature, science, crafts, and sports, with no ads and no algorithmic recommendations.
Designed for families seeking intentional screen time, Selectube helps children watch less overall while enjoying genuinely worthwhile content. The creator built the entire project using Cursor, an AI coding tool, and reports that children find it easier to step away from compared to standard YouTube.
