RackPeek
Web UI and CLI tool for documenting and managing home lab infrastructure
Visit timmoth.github.io ↗What is RackPeek?
RackPeek is a self-hosted tool designed for tracking hardware, services, networks, and their relationships in home lab and small-scale IT environments. It provides both a web interface and command-line interface, allowing users to visualize physical and logical topology, manage inventory, and export configurations without enterprise complexity or vendor lock-in.
The tool stores infrastructure data in YAML format, making it scriptable and version-controllable. It includes features for subnet browsing, Ansible inventory generation, SSH config export, and hosts file generation. RackPeek runs via Docker and is built to help users document their entire infrastructure as code.
