PiClaw
Self-hosted AI workspace with agent, editor, terminal, and extensible tools
Visit rcarmo.github.io ↗What is PiClaw?
PiClaw is a self-hosted AI workspace built on the Pi Coding Agent, designed for single users who want to work with an AI agent, edit files, run commands, and view results all in one browser window. It runs in Docker and supports multiple LLM providers, including local OpenAI-compatible servers. The workspace persists conversations, files, and scheduled tasks between sessions.
The interface includes a file browser, code editor with Markdown rendering, terminal via xterm.js, VNC viewer for remote access, office and PDF viewers, drawing tools, and kanban boards. It supports streaming chat with Markdown, KaTeX, and Mermaid rendering, and offers a growing catalogue of community add-ons like Ghostty terminal, Proxmox, and Portainer. The project uses Bun to embed the Pi agent runtime and SQLite to track sessions.
