peon-ping delivers game character voice lines and on-screen notifications when AI coding agents complete tasks or require permission, preventing developers from losing focus while waiting for agent responses. It works with Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, GitHub Copilot, and other AI agents, plus supports an MCP server so agents can select their own sounds.
The tool includes 368+ customizable sound packs featuring characters from Warcraft III, StarCraft, Portal, Zelda, and other games, with options to create and share custom packs. Installation is available via Homebrew or installer script for macOS, Linux, and WSL2, with configuration options for multi-IDE support and remote development environments.
