OpenSandbox
Sandbox infrastructure for running AI agents and code safely in isolation
Visit open-sandbox.ai ↗What is OpenSandbox?
OpenSandbox is a general-purpose sandbox platform designed for AI applications, coding agents, browser automation, and model-generated code execution. It provides secure, isolated environments that scale from laptops to large clusters using a consistent API across Docker and Kubernetes runtimes.
The platform includes SDKs for Python, Java, Kotlin, TypeScript, C#, and Go, plus CLI and MCP server support. Key features include strong isolation via gVisor, Kata Containers, or Firecracker microVMs, network policies, credential management, and fast startup times (~80ms). It supports typical AI workloads like Claude Code, browser automation with Chrome and Playwright, remote development environments, and reinforcement learning scenarios.
