Native Shell
Cross-platform UI engine: write once in TSX, render natively on every platform
Visit nsh.dev ↗What is Native Shell?
Native Shell is a Rust-based engine for building cross-platform applications with AI-generated UI. Write applications in Rust, TSX, or both, and render using each platform's native components: UIKit on iOS, Android views on Android, AppKit on macOS, Win32 on Windows, GTK 4 on Linux, GPUI in GPUI apps, and HTML on the web. Embed NSH into existing apps or package as standalone applications. The platform supports runtime delivery of TSX modules as signed, sandboxed packages, making it designed for AI-generated screens. Built with Rust for performance (120 FPS on ProMotion displays), it includes hot-reload for TSX iteration and a unified CLI for building and packaging across all platforms.
