Memoir
Git-like version control for AI agent memory with hierarchical semantic storage
Visit zhangfengcdt.github.io ↗What is Memoir?
Memoir is a semantic memory system designed for AI agents that applies version control principles to memory management. It replaces vector databases with transparent, versioned, cryptographically secure storage organized by hierarchical semantic paths (e.g., profile.professional.skills.python). Features include branching, committing, merging, and rollback of memories; O(log n) hierarchical lookups; automatic memory consolidation; and support for both keyword and LLM-powered search. Memoir integrates with Claude Code, OpenAI Codex, Nous Research's Hermes, OpenClaw, and any MCP host including Claude Desktop, Cursor, Cline, and VS Code.
