Loft Day is an interactive browser game created as a wedding invitation that evolved into a full experience. It features ten explorable rooms, a party sequence, a road trip, and numerous embedded mini-games and hidden interactions. The entire game runs in a single 8.8 MB HTML file with no framework, and includes real runtimes like Python via Pyodide and a Linux system through v86.
The creator built Loft Day over a month using Claude and Codex as coding assistants. Players navigate through the game by clicking and exploring, discovering various activities and Easter eggs throughout the experience. It's designed as a wholesome, playful adventure emphasizing discovery and aimless exploration.
