LCU
Computer use runtime for AI agents without Codex sign-in
Visit lcu.polarzero.xyz ↗What is LCU?
LCU decouples the computer-use capabilities from the ChatGPT desktop app, making them available to Claude Code, Codex CLI, Pi, and other AI agent harnesses. It leverages the original runtime already installed on your machine, handling setup and integration while preserving the app's native instructions and approval prompts unchanged.
The tool supports desktop automation across macOS and Linux, including window reading, clicking, typing, and screenshots. Chrome control is available as an opt-in feature through the official extension. LCU is open source under the MIT license and requires only the ChatGPT desktop app, Python 3.12+, and your chosen harness to be installed locally.
