Jarhead
Voice-first Mac assistant that uses your computer for you
Visit jarhead-tau.vercel.app ↗What is Jarhead?
Jarhead is a voice-controlled macOS application that lets you interact with your Mac by speaking commands. Say the wake word, authenticate with Touch ID, and give instructions—the app handles clicks, screenshots, and tool calls across multiple concurrent tasks. It uses GPT-Live-1 for full-duplex voice interaction and supports multiple AI backends including Claude Code, Codex, or local models.
Designed for hands-free productivity, Jarhead wakes on-device with no billing until you authenticate, then executes up to three parallel tasks with their own conversation threads and budgets. It includes 71 tools organized into ten families, an append-only ledger of all actions, and automations that continue running while the app sleeps.
