Build terminal UIs in Lua with a declarative library
Visit uji.sh ↗What is ito playground · uji?
Ito is a Lua library for creating terminal user interfaces with a declarative, SwiftUI-inspired approach. It runs in the browser via WebAssembly, rendering layouts, state management, and input handling to a Canvas with a fixed theme. The interactive playground lets you write Lua code with live preview, built-in examples (input flows, counters, lists, preferences, shops), and an ito.md guide designed to share with LLMs for code generation. Compose views with VStack, HStack, Text, and controls; manage state with ito.state(); and style with spacing, padding, grow, bold, and dim modifiers.
