Ignidash

Ignidash is a web-based financial planning tool designed to help users model long-term retirement scenarios and early financial independence. The project describes itself as an open-source alternative to ProjectionLab. It offers Monte Carlo simulations, historical backtesting against real market data, US tax estimation for withdrawals and asset location strategies, and an AI chatbot that answers questions about retirement planning concepts.

The tool is built with Next.js, React, and TypeScript on the frontend, with Convex handling the backend and database. Users manually input financial data with no account linking required, and all data is encrypted. Core planning features are free during beta, with paid AI features available at $7/month, while self-hosting via Docker remains free indefinitely.
