Hoard
Automatic game save sync and versioned backups across devices
Visit hoard.services ↗What is Hoard?
Hoard is an open-source game save backup and sync system that automatically detects your games across Steam, Epic, GOG, and 20,000+ titles via the Ludusavi manifest, including emulators. It syncs saves across PCs in the background, maintaining a full version history with SHA-256 verification so corrupted saves never silently overwrite good ones. You can roll back to any earlier version from the app.
Run the server on your own hardware with no accounts or telemetry, or use the free EU cloud. The desktop app and CLI work identically against either deployment. Features include cross-device sync, conflict resolution favoring the most recent save, content-hash deduplication to minimize storage, and support for Proton and Wine prefixes. Built as a single Rust binary.
