Feynman
Open source AI agent for discovering and synthesizing scientific research
Visit feynman.is ↗What is Feynman?
Feynman is an open source AI research agent that automates literature discovery, analysis, and synthesis across academic databases, the web, and code repositories. It helps researchers plan investigations, conduct literature reviews, audit reproducibility claims, and generate paper-style drafts with citations. The tool runs multiple specialized agents (researcher, verifier, reviewer, writer) and integrates with Semantic Scholar, arXiv, PubMed, Hugging Face, and other sources.
Users interact through a command-line interface with workflows like deep research, literature review, paper critique, replication planning, and experiment loops. Results are saved locally with provenance files tracking sources. According to the GitHub repository, Feynman is built on Pi with Claude as a code tool.
