Dozenal is a spatial arithmetic puzzle game where players drag tiles across a grid to create totals of 12. The distance between numbers determines the operation: zero spaces means addition, one space is subtraction, and two spaces is multiplication. Players can combine up to two operations in a single chain to reach their target.
The game offers daily puzzles designed to balance challenge with casual play, plus a practice mode and archive of previous puzzles. Creators Rory and Chris developed it over a decade before releasing it, refining the mechanics through extensive testing.
