DockLock
Stops your Mac's Dock from jumping between monitors
Visit timlenardo.github.io ↗What is DockLock?
DockLock is a lightweight menu bar utility for macOS that prevents the Dock from switching monitors when your cursor approaches the bottom of the screen. The app works by detecting when the mouse reaches the screen's bottom edge and moving it back up a few pixels, blocking the Dock-jumping behavior that occurs natively in macOS.
Designed for multi-monitor Mac users frustrated by accidental Dock switches, DockLock runs silently in the background and tracks how many jumps it has prevented. The maker says it was built with help from Claude. The app is free and open-source.
