deja-vu
Shared memory for coding agents, indexed from your existing session files
Visit vshulcz.github.io ↗What is deja-vu?
deja-vu indexes sessions written to disk by coding agents (Claude Code, Codex, and 33+ others) and makes that history available to any agent that needs it. When an agent encounters a problem you've solved before, deja retrieves the relevant session—no setup required beyond a ten-second install. The tool parses agent session stores locally, strips credentials, and builds a searchable index (about one-tenth the size of the original corpus) that agents can query via an MCP tool or session hooks.
Built for developers using multiple coding agents who want to avoid re-solving the same problems. Deja measures 0% error on LongMemEval-S benchmarks and uses 49% fewer tokens than comparable solutions on repeated tasks.
