CollabMD is a browser-based workspace that lets teams collaborate on Markdown documents, diagrams, and git-backed repositories while keeping files on disk. Point it at an existing folder, Obsidian vault, or docs repo—no migration needed. Your filesystem remains the source of truth, and external edits sync back into the app automatically.
Features include realtime editing with Yjs, support for multiple diagram formats (Mermaid, PlantUML, Excalidraw, draw.io), source-anchored comments and chat, git review and commit from the browser, and AI agent integration via WebMCP for file search and editing. It runs locally on macOS, Linux, or Windows via WSL2, with optional sharing of protected workspaces to collaborators.
