codemem
Persistent memory for AI coding agents across sessions and machines
Visit codemem.sh ↗What is codemem?
codemem is a developer tool that preserves coding decisions, discoveries, and dead ends across sessions with AI coding agents like OpenCode, Claude Code, and Codex. Instead of losing context when starting fresh, it captures why code was written a certain way and automatically surfaces relevant memories in later sessions.
The tool stores project-specific patterns, edge cases, and reasoning in local SQLite, then uses hybrid search (lexical and semantic) to inject the most relevant context into agent prompts. It supports peer-to-peer sync across machines and selective sharing with teammates. The maker built it with Claude Code.
