Accounted is an open-source accounting system designed for Swedish businesses and AI agents. It implements double-entry bookkeeping compliant with Swedish law, handling invoicing, bank reconciliation, VAT declarations, payroll, and supplier payments. The platform exposes its full engine via 150+ Model Context Protocol tools and REST APIs, allowing AI agents to propose bookkeeping entries for human approval.
The software serves sole traders, limited companies, accounting teams, and agencies. It can be used as a hosted service or self-hosted with Docker and Supabase. The project is licensed under AGPL-3.0 and built by Arcim Technology AB in Stockholm.
